The first event of MPST's ninth season will take place in Evansville, Tropicana, in southern Indiana, from Jan. 18-21. A series of satellites will be supplied to a $350 purchase, $100,000 guarantee regional event that features three departing flights.

For nearly 22 years, Tropicana Evansville operated as Indiana's first riverboat casino, and is now the first person to convert into a 75,000-square-foot land casino with new facilities. This will be the first time MSPT has hosted an event at its new facility.

The regional event will have three departures, starting with Day 1A on Thursday, Jan. 18, at 5 p.m. Day 1B will be held at the same time on Friday, Jan. 19, and Day 1C will be held on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 2:30 p.m. Players who survive each flight will return to Day 2 at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 21, to play the winner. 안전한 파워볼사이트

The Regional Event was introduced in January 2015 to provide recreational players with an affordable opportunity to play the lauded "chainsaw approved" structure. The only difference from the $1,100 main event, which plays 14 40-minute levels on day one, is that the Regional Event flight plays 16 levels and lasts 30 minutes each.

MSPT first visited Tropicana Evansville for a local event in 2016, when Adam Thomas won first place with $30,674 in 416 entries. In Season 8, Jason Gwinn won the first place prize of $35,443 after winning first place in 511 entries. The huge turnout was more than three times the $50,000 guarantee, which is why there is a six-digit GTD in January.

More recently, in August 2017, the $1,100 MSPT Main Event, the 2017 MSPT Indiana Poker Championship, attracted 320 entries, with Satish Thakur winning the title and $71,047.
